Saand Ki Aankh continues to enjoy considerable success at the box office, having collected Rs. 2.32 crores on Sunday alone. Despite the strong showings from Housefull 4 and Ujda Chaman, the film is managing to remain a major player in this weekend’s race.
The film has accumulated a sum of Rs. 17.17 crores up until now, and if the collections can remain consistently above 1 crore per weekday, it will be an enormous success for the movie. With a limited number of theaters showing the Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar feature, the second weekend was stronger than the first, possibly because it coincided with Diwali and had to compete with Housefull 4.
Now all attention is focused on the extent to which Tushar Hiranandani’s directed movie will progress from here. Though it may not be a runaway success, if it is received positively in cinemas then Saand Ki Aankh can be deemed as having been fairly successful.
