The film RRR by director SS Rajamouli, starring Ram Charan, Jr.NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan released this Friday to overwhelmingly positive responses from critics and audiences alike. Drawing in a large number of profits worldwide within its opening weekend domestically as well as internationally – the blockbuster began with a startling amount of success at the US markets with an accumulative grossing of 9.26 million USD while only being screened across 1200 screens.
At Canada, the film was also successful- earning an additional Rs. 5.46 crore in three days despite being only shown on 29 screens – ranking third among all other weekend box office earners there too. With this trend continuing into its second week now, trade experts predict that RRR’s strong performance could even lead it to become one of 2017s top five highest grossing films globally!
