The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri released a while back and since then the film has been raking in the moolah at the box office. After opening on a modest note the business of the Anupam Kher starrer witnessed exponential growth in collections over its opening weekend and subsequent weekdays as well. In fact, even on its third weekend running the business of The Kashmir Files managed to remain steady despite the release of the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR. Now on its third Monday running the film has collected a further Rs. 3.10 cr.
The Kashmir Files – an Indian production directed by Vivek Agnihotri – was released in theaters quite some time ago and so far it has been earning well. Despite a slow start the film gained momentum during its first few days, and continued this trend for weeks to come. Indeed, even on its third Saturday at the theaters The Kashmir Files maintained stability when faced with tough competition from the release of SS Rajamouli’s new movie RRR. On what would be its third Monday night (Monday morning) it made another 3.10 crores as well.
Going forward, despite recent signs of slowing down, it is predicted that The Kashmir Files will continue making waves at the box office. With an estimated collection of Rs. 231.28 cr so far, this Vivek Agnihotri directorial seems to be nearing the Rs. 250-cr milestone soon enough – just in time for its next round of heavyweight competition; firstly with the release of RRR and then when John Abraham’s Attack hits screens on April 1st.
