The SS Rajamouli directed RRR, which stars Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn among others has been raking in the numbers at the box office. With an opening weekend whose returns amounted to Rs.75.57 crores- now on its fifth day, the film managed to cross Rs 100 crores- making it one of six films post pandemic to do so.
When considering recent movies that have been released after the pandemic, RRR has managed to rake in over one hundred crore rupees – Rs. 107.59 cr in just five days – which makes it the fastest movie to make over one hundred crore rupees. In fact, the film made more money than other recent releases such as Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, The Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiawadi (Alia Bhatt), or even Ranveer Singh’s 83 or Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1.
Currently, the SS Rajamouli directed film, RRR continues to satisfy the audience with packed theaters. Trade predictions project that the movie will earn over $150 million by its first week.
