What an incredible run so far this movie is having. Both The Kashmir Files and RRR are getting great reception all around, but when these two movies were released it seemed as if nothing could go wrong! Apparently they’re both doing well enough at the box office that we can expect them to reach some serious milestones within the next week or so – which is fantastic considering how close these releases are!
Let’s talk about The Files first – in just three days since its release, it’s managed to accumulate Rs. 250 crores at the Box Office. According to their collection rate, it seems likely that over Rs. 500 crores will be added before long – maybe even reaching near-Rs 700 crores if things go well from here! The fact of the matter is that this kind of thing usually never happens- so congratulations are in order for everyone involved!
Ditto for RRR that has done much better business than what was expected out of it. Yes, SS Rajamouli is leading the charge here and he came with this film after delivering massive blockbusters with the Baahubali franchise. Still, Rs. 150-200 crores lifetime number would have been considered as good enough for the period action drama. However, for now it is chasing Rs. 250 crores milestone too, what with its collections after the third weekend standing at Rs. 231.59 crores–another major success story from this industry this year!
Now onto KGF – Chapter 2 [Hindi] which seems poised to break records left and right when all is said and done; especially if the movie manages to rake in over two hundred fifty crore rupees in revenue during its theatrical run (no small feat).
