The Rohit Shetty-directed film Sooryavanshi has quickly become one of the most profitable movies of late. Starring Akshay Kumar in the leading role, it opened up to a roaring response from both critics and audiences alike. Despite pandemic restrictions, people still found ways to make money off this movie by seeing it multiple times. Now, in its third weekend run at the theaters, Sooryavanshi is predicted to bring in an additional Rs. 11 – 12 crores to show that it was worth all this while! The Day 15th (third Friday) saw the movie make Rs. 3.6 crores off ticket sales alone!

Not only does it rival the success of his past hit Mission Mangal which made about Rs. 9 crore rupees (INR) but also goes beyond that number with earnings of over 11 – 12 crores rupees! Similarly, Airlift made about 10 crore rupees (INR), Kesari made about 5 crore rupees (INR), and Golmaal Again earned 6 crore rupees (INR). With no new releases coming out soon in theater, Singham Returns has every chance in taking first place once again as its release approaches next week!
