The movie Sooryavanshi (which means Sun Dynasty) from Akshay Kumar was released on November 5th. The movie is doing well and continues to do so. It’s directed by Rohit Shetty, the first major Bollywood film to come out post-second lockdown ended up drawing people to theaters in droves. Starting this Friday after four weeks of screening, Sooryavanshi has earned Rs 71 lakhs (around $10,000).
As things stand now it will face 3 new films at the Box Office – Bunty Aur Babli 2 starring John Abraham and Satyameva Jayate 2 starring Ayushman Khurana with Shah Rukh Khan appearing in a special appearance along with Salman Khan-Aayush Sharma’s Antim – The Final Truth . All together the movie Sooryavanshi has made Rs 185.64 Crores ($31 million) worldwide till date.
