Sooryavanshi has been doing very well at the Box Office, considering that it’s already earned approximately Rs. 1.5 crores on its 4th Saturday. The movie has been in theaters for a total of 23 days now and an estimated worth of around 187 crores- which can land this movie among the celebrated 200 Crore Club.
This Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty collaboration about a cop named Suraj is proving to be one heck of an entertaining watch even after going up against some fierce competition from new movies released lately such as Tanhaji and Covid rises once again across India which was accompanied by increased fear.
If this were to happen, it would be the first for Akshay Kumar in his illustrious career. The only competition to this film is Ranveer Singh’s 83. Maharashtra and Gujarat continue to be the top scoring provinces for Sooryavanshi and the film has set some extraordinary records in these two territories. The fourth Saturday figure is among the 20th highest ever recorded; yet it happened amidst a pandemic no less than what we are currently living through – which makes this achievement even more notable (and probably one of few reasons why people will remember and acknowledge Sooryavanshi).
