Tadap held up on Monday with drop from Friday being less than 50%. This allowed for the movie to hold a decent audience for the weeks. On Friday the film had collected 4.05 crores and with Monday standing at Rs. 2.25 crores, the Sajid Nadiadwala production is assured of steady weekdays ahead. The Milan Luthria directed film has now collected Rs. 15.77 crores and this week should end around Rs. 21 crore mark; yet another solid release under his belt after MS Dhoni -The Untold Story last year which ended its box office run with 27 crore rupees in India alone
Ditto for Aayush Sharma who has managed a fairly successful career to his name with Antim – The Final Truth. From Loveyatri to this, it has been an exciting journey for the actor assisted by Salman Khan in this Mahesh Manjrekar directed action drama. The film managed Rs. 1 crore* more on Monday which helped push its overall score over the Rs. 35 crores mark. Standing at Rs. 35.60 crores*, the film should reach or pass 38 crores before the end of second week.*
As for Sooryavanshi, a few jumps were seen in its box office collections. Collections on Monday hit Rs. 100 lakhs and it was said that this was because of the success of Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty’s big film. In total, nearly 220 crore rupees have been collected so far which is very impressive given how well it has done since being released six weeks ago.
