The Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi which was released a few weeks ago continues to do well in theaters. The movie which also stars Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn was supposed to release on the OTT platform Netflix but since it wasn’t available yet, people who couldn’t wait for their chance to watch this hot new release were able to still see the film from where they could. Even though it’s now only showing in select theaters, this movie has made just under 7 crores so far!

Collecting Rs. 0.72 cr on its sixth weekend, the film has managed to beat out the business of Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba which had collected Rs. 0.22 cr last year to become one of India’s top 12 highest sixth weekends earners ever! In addition, the movie has also outperformed movies like Raazi which had collected Rs. 0.70 cr last year, Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran which collected only Rs.0 .45 cr and Golmaal Again which only made Rs . 35cr in just 6 weeks here in India!
