In advance sales for this highly anticipated premiere filled up quickly as major theater chains added more showings to keep up with demand on opening night; some even started at 4 am! On 3264 screens and four languages – Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu – the film did not disappoint. It quickly grossed an astounding Rs. 32.67 crores (USD 522 million) on its first day of release alone! And now after only three days of being released, it has earned an additional Rs. 29 crore (USD 47 million).

Currently, Spider-Man: No Way Home has received positive reviews from the critic and audiences alike appears to be unstoppable at the Indian box for this past week. Trade estimates state that the business of this film will continue to grow over its opening weekend with a high likelihood of collections crossing the Rs. 125 and even Rs. 150 cr mark in India alone.
