It isn’t even the beginning of winter and yet the box office has rang out so loudly that it sounds like it’s asking for something great, bigger than anything we’ve seen before. As Spider-Man: No Way Home and Pushpa: The Rise took an exhilarating first step last week, Monday night increased those expectations significantly when they proved themselves to be two majorly successful movies at least.
Let’s talk about Spider-Man: No Way Home. It has performed exceptionally well in just 4 days; gaining 100 rupees from viewers within the first day itself. Yet there are still people who doubt whether it will make Rs. 200 crore club because of its smaller budget than other expensive movies. All we need to do is wait until Monday arrives before making such conclusions – where 12.10 rupees will be added onto the total, increasing it by 18%. This means that total receipts thus far have reached 120.47 rupees!
Surely this performance won’t go unnoticed during these upcoming holiday seasons, and expect even greater holds with additional holidays coming up around the corner! But despite the positive reception so far, it’s yet unknown if future earnings will take a hit when newer releases come out soon after these initial ones due to bad competition among each other.
