Seven weeks after Sooryavanshi was released, the company that produced it is releasing another blockbuster movie. Both of these movies were released by Reliance Entertainment who had been holding onto them for over 20 months. Although many other streaming services wanted to buy them, they decided against doing so and instead opted to wait until both movies could be shown in theaters. The first movie has already become very popular but the next one will be just as well when it releases on Friday.
Numerous people are involved in this major movie, so the stakes are quite high. With such a significant amount allocated to make this Kabir Khan-helmed production, there is much riding on it. Opening day should have made at least Rs. 30-40 crore if things were normal – but they’re not. These days every movie doesn’t need to open up as successfully as films like Sooryavanshi (released during Diwali) or Spider-Man: No Way Home does for its respective franchises.
As long as the film starts off making about Rs. 12-13 crore within its first week and continues gaining momentum from there thanks to positive reviews coming out; then we’ll probably see a huge increase in collection over Saturday and Sunday – which also happens to coincide with Christmas season!
