The much-anticipated and internationally loved film, 83 will be releasing on Friday- having been worked on for 4 years. However, expectations among both critics and audiences are not high; attributing to the claims that it could only expect to earn around Rs.12 crores in its opening weekend. Regardless of its lackluster performance at the box office, never before have people wanted something so bad just as they want this movie! Opinions regarding the Ranveer Singh starrer seem more polarized than ever.
\Critics argue that it can’t surpass even being able to match up with what another recent Bollywood sensation has offered them (Aayush Sharma starrer Antim – The Final Truth) – barely collecting almost 20% less in its opening day collection than what is attributed towards the Salman Khan spectacle; all whilst owing 6 lakhs to ‘Antim’ which opened over 2 weeks ago!
