The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise opened this last week and has been met with astounding success. It was estimated to do well, but had no idea it would turn out so well. With openings of just under 40 crores on Day 1, it only grew stronger as the weeks progressed. Now on its Third Saturday at release – the film has grossed Rs 50 crores with a total estimate of around Rs 66 crores currently.
Trade reports say that being so successful for almost an entire month in theaters will allow this movie to enjoy unrestricted theatrical access until late January due to scheduling conflicts among other films!
