Despite a weak effort at the Chinese box office, Chhichhore was almost removed from theatres after generating USD 3.01 million [Rs. 22.52 cr.]. As the lowest grossing Indian movie in China, the current pandemic and competing films were two factors contributing to the struggles of Chhichhore at the box office.
With its run in China coming to an end, Chhichhore was met with relatively low engagement from the audience. Nonetheless, the film performed well in the current market situation.
