Chhichhore has done fairly well since it released this past week. Brought in over five and a half crore rupees on the second day alone, it grew with almost nine crore rupees added to its tally on the second day as well. This puts the film’s total at eighty three point six crores already – not including what will likely happen come Sunday (or rather Monday when some people actually work).
Despite being up against Dream Girl, films playing upon screen count and viewer attention alike, Chhichhore does very well for itself; making so many sales without fail every single day. It is possible that had Chhichhore gone head-to-head with other films then it would have had an even higher standing within Indian cinema today than just being another one of those movies making it into ‘the 100 Crore Club’. Alas! For now…
