The sky lit up with fireworks and people cheered all around me. I felt completely alive surrounded by those who celebrated these two worlds colliding, come together tonight so bright; how could anyone ask for anything else? The place was crowded yet everyone was still able to find their own space without feeling claustrophobic – though it was easy to feel swept up in the grandeur of everything happening here.
Everyone looked gorgeous, from the man dancing fluidly on stage next to the person selling roses at each turn that he took, whose hand never left his pocket for any longer than a few moments before moving onto the next customer. We were just another number but he gave us what felt like an all encompassing world view anyways.
Prabhas’ Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion managed to collect Rs. 19.75 crore at the end of it’s first week, which makes it currently one of India’s top earners in the time span. This was followed by what seemed to be an even stronger opening for his previous work ‘The Kashmir Files’. With audiences from all over coming out in droves for this film, there are only two plausible outcomes for this movie: Either the demand will increase beyond measure or theaters will start running out of space because people won’t stop booking tickets! Trade Predictions estimate that The Kashmir files could go past the 20 crore mark during its second week!
