After a weekend of approximately Rs. 15 crores, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G showed a decline in collections on Monday. Estimates from early morning showings report an approximate 55% drop in attendance for the fourth day with estimated earnings between Rs. 1.5 crore to 1.75 crore
With this, the four-day total of Doctor G stands at Rs. 16.70 crores which is approximately $2 million USD. It was important for Doctor G to show a drop of less than 40%, but alas that has not happened, and it is now going to be about how far can the film reach from hereon. Next week there are big ticket releases in the form of Ram Setu and Thank God; both films will most likely outdraw Doctor G whose days on top seem numbered unless they increase their viewership – all thanks to these unrealistically high expectations set off by fake reviews or because people didn’t bother reading those really long bad ones either way…
