Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi playedleading roles in Dil Bechara, released in India on OTT shortly after the unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. All his fans had been waiting in anticipation for one last opportunity to watch him perform his magical craft onscreen. This Mukesh Chhabra directorial earned a huge round of appreciation from both industry peers and the audience.
Due to the theatres being closed in India because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie was not able to get its theatrical release there. On the other hand, it did find success in New Zealand and Fiji as the theatres in these two countries remained open. Furthermore, despite the tight competition from Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and Dil Bechara’s limited availability in theatres, the film starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi has still managed to capture the attention of its audiences. To date, the movie has earned NZ$ 48,436 in New Zealand and FJ$ 33,864 in Fiji.
