Marjaavaan enjoyed another profitable day as the Milap Zaveri directed film stayed well above the Rs. 3 crore threshold. Despite a strong start of Rs. 7.03 crores on opening day, collections have steadily held throughout the week and are expected to remain in a similar range today, potentially resulting in satisfactory numbers for the movie entering its second week.
With collections on Wednesday amounting to Rs. 3.16 crores, the film has so far earned a total of Rs. 35.34 crores and is predicted to finish its first week close to the 38 crores mark, at which point its journey towards achieving Rs. 50 crores will commence.
Sidharth Malhotra is delighted by the success of his recent film and eagerly anticipates the release of Shershaah. Produced by Karan Johar, it promises to satisfy both discerning movie-goers and popular tastes, depending on its promotional reception prior to its premiere. Its box office performance may well be contingent on such early indicators.
