Throughout the last week, Bala maintained its impressive box-office streak. Despite showing in a limited number of theaters, its collections were robust; they even exceeded Marjaavaan’s numbers, released a week later, and kept up with Pagalpanti (at multiplexes) which was that week’s new release.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the movie garnered a total of Rs. 0.90 crores and Rs. 0.91 crores respectively, thus showing a great grip in terms of attendance even during weekdays. Moreover, it was estimated that on Monday and Tuesday the film brought in a total of Rs. 1.05 crores and Rs. 1.15 crores respectively; signifying how Ayushmann Khurranna’s fans have been fervently supporting him all along.
So far, the film directed by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik has accumulated Rs. 109.88 crores at the box office. With the release of Commando 3 this week, it’s likely that available screens for screenings will be further limited; however, despite this, it is quite possible for the film to reach past Rs. 115 crores and perhaps even a lifetime total of Rs. 120 crores – making this an intriguing outcome to follow!
