Dabangg 3 fell flat on its face this past Friday as only an additional Rs. 1 crore* more was collected. This film has lost popularity very quickly in the second week, but will never be forgotten thanks to Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior arriving next Friday. Multiplex theaters will have limited slots open for Dabangg 3 due to being occupied by Good News which is reigning supreme there.
The Prabhu Dheva directed film has collected Rs. 148.80 crores* so far and will reach the Rs. 150 crores mark today, which will be the final milestone for this movie before it can no longer surpass anything significant because of Sunday.
The film failed to meet expectations and after earning Rs. 169 Crores from Race 3, it falls far short of the coveted Rs. 200 Crores milestone. The sequels for both Dabangg and Race were unable to live up to the hype compared to how weakly performing this newest installment was in comparison.
