On Tuesday, Marjaavaan achieved steady box office earnings of Rs. 3.61 crores. Though the number decreased in comparison to Monday’s collections of Rs. 4.15 crores, the figure remains controllable. Encouragingly, compared to Friday’s earnings of Rs. 7.03 crores, there was a drop less than 50% which shows a satisfactory retention rate thus far.
The film is a hit with its target audiences, resulting in a Rs. 32.18 crore haul thus far. These figures now rival the lifetime box office success of Sidharth Malhotra’s Ittefaq, providing the actor much reason to celebrate as Marjaavaan will surely surpass it.
Milap Zaveri is grateful for the success of his film, and his vision is validated. His upcoming release, Satyameva Jayate 2, promises to offer something special for the masses. Starring John Abraham, it is set to come out on Gandhi Jayanti 2020 and could easily draw in massive audiences when its holiday season release rolls around.
