Chhichhore is defying all predictions and continues to rock the show. The film was excellent on Wednesday with Rs. 7.20 crores coming in, which follows Monday’s score of Rs. 7.32 crores, making it Chhichhore’s sixth consecutive day of success despite being partially off on Sunday for Holi celebrations around the world! With an impressive sum of Rs. 60 crores so far from just six days of screening (and it will be only one full weekend left!), Chhichhore stands a chance at crossing the coveted mark of 65 crores by Friday–pretty close to what we had predicted!
From the looks of it, joining the Rs. 100 Crore Club is going to be a snap for Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor’s latest joint venture, as well as Varun Sharma. This will make producer Sajid Nadiadwala another prominent member of India’s most elite group of producers – he already helped guide Super 30 into its own high-income club earlier this year. So far, the film seems primed to give Bollywood newcomer Hrithik Roshan’s Heroics Competition a run for its money in the box office race later this month too.
