The Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Good Newz was released some time ago, and ever since its release, it has been doing phenomenally at the box office. Receiving praise from critics and being received with open arms by audiences only helped grow this film’s gross exponentially over time.
In this box office report we take a look at the second Sunday collections of Good Newwz and compare the earnings against the success of other films from 2019. On its second weekend, Good Newwz garnered Rs 14.40 crore that is enough to break out Tiger Shroff-starrer War (Rs 13.90 crore), Housefull 4 (Rs 12.60 crore), and Super 30 (Rs 11.68 crore) which all took place on their respective second weekends too. Kabir Singh leads these figures with Rs 17.84 crore followed by Uri – The Surgical Strike with Rs 17/17 crs; both high earners for 2019 but still falling short when compared to Mission Mangal which made over rs 15 crores in two days!
If that wasn’t enough, with the film holding strong despite new releases hitting screens and breaking records last weekend, experts predict Good Newwz will bring in more money this coming week.
