The gap between Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior and Jawaani Jaaneman diminished even further as the former gathered Rs. 1.90 crores, while the latter collected Rs. 1.86 crores on Wednesday. This is the closest these two films have come to one another, considering Tanhaji is already in its fourth week and Jawaani Jaaneman is still in its first week. It would be captivating to see if Saif Ali Khan’s film will be able to surpass the Ajay Devgn film by the end of today.
Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior has so far raked in a box–office collection of Rs. 257.67 crores, with plenty of steam still left. Comparatively, Jawaani Jaaneman has earned Rs. 18.66 crores, and it is likely to cross the Rs. 20 crores benchmark before the week ends.
As far as Street Dancer 3D is concerned, it is only collecting relatively small amounts of revenue, with an additional Rs. 1.25 crores coming in on Tuesday. Although the drop in collections has not been immense, the fact of the matter is that the film is on its way out. At present, the Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer has made Rs. 70.21 crores, and would have minimal showings in its fourth week.
