The Allu Arjun film Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 that was first released last year on December 31st- had, after lukewarm reception at the theaters upon release, risen exponentially in popularity when it reached its second and third week. Proving to be a strong contender amongst other films this season, it soon after surpassed even one hundred crore rupees (Rs. 100 cr.) worth of earnings!

So far, it has grossed over $100 million USD which makes it rank 5th among all other Hindi films from south India.
