Pandemic, theaters have been shut down and original theatrical release – There are many challenges that Pushpa has faced concerning its initial screenings. Still, it has not given up easily and continues to fight against this troubling turn of events. Yes, ticket sales dropped dramatically on weekday mornings in the 4th week and if they hadn’t done so then they could’ve entered into the 100 Crore Club. Nevertheless, Pushpa hasn’t turned their back on hope just yet; evidenced through surprisingly good Friday gift collection figures.
With a take of Rs. 66 crore, Allu Arjun’s latest release did really well at the box office. The biggest blockbusters start losing traction after about four weeks, but Pushpa (Hindi) seems set to gross over Rs. 5 crores per week for another five days at least – that’s if it doesn’t face competition from other Hindi films or outdates itself in terms of novelty, soon enough.
With no one stopping my movie during its theatrical run and only those who want to watch me going to the theater themselves – all I need is crowds coming back again and again. So far so good; my movie has already grossed over 83 crores and will easily cross 87 crores by Sunday evening-with an outside chance of going as high as 90 crores before this week ends.
