Less than four months ago, Spider-Man: No Way Home opened in theatres. The movie had a start of Rs. 32.67 crores at the box office and went on to earn 100 crores over its opening weekend. It also had a lifetime score of Rs. 218.41 crores (220 million Rupees). This year there are two Marvel movies released: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness; and Captain Marvel too, both being successful ventures overseas as well as locally – marvel has been recognized nationally (in India) as the most popular entertainment company to watch out for these past few years and it looks like they’re not slowing down anytime soon!
As a result, his latest outing is now set to open really huge at the box office. One can expect this movie to match if not surpass the first day numbers of Spider-Man: No Way Home; it would come close to that for sure. With Rs. 25 crores predicted on the opening day and even higher expectations, it will bring in Rs. 27-30 crores on its first day itself which is an excellent start indeed – then all depends upon how good or bad the content proves to be moving forward.
