Despite Diwali festivities driving the total earnings of all films down, Made In China managed to exceed Rs. 1.25 crore on Sunday alone, with a grand total of Rs. 3.75 crores collected so far – which was initially anticipated as the box office result for day one.
Boasting excellent credentials, this Dinesh Vijan production unfortunately failed to gain significant recognition. Various reasons have been attributed to its mediocre box office earnings. Today could be the best day yet for the movie due to it being a holiday following Diwali, as well as an upcoming partial holiday for ‘Bhai Duj’ potentially aiding in increased collection numbers.
A major boon for the movie is that it has already made back its 25 crore rupee investment from sales of satellite, digital and music rights.
