Kartik Aaryan’s diligence and astute decisions have been yielding beneficial outcomes. His newest release, Pati Patni Aur Woh, registered greater weekend collections than his preceding film Luka Chuppi, whose record of the highest opening weekend so far [Rs. 32.13 crores] was trumped by the latest one’s commendable score of Rs. 35.94 crores.
The young actor has once again earned a whopping Rs. 30 crores on the weekend and he is now aiming for the Rs. 40 crore milestone. With some great upcoming projects such as Aaj Kal, Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in line, this should not be too difficult to achieve. It could have been done by Pati Patni Aur Woh had there been no clash with Panipat but what truly matters at the end of the day are the film’s merits which make this movie a definite winner.
Kartik Aaryan is elated that his movie has exceeded the weekend sales of Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. His movies usually have successful opening nights, but with more family audiences starting to appreciate him (apart from the youths who already admired him), expectations for Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming films will rise even higher.
