RRR continues it’s flourishing endeavor with an amazing performance at the box office; the film passed Monday with flying colors. Early projections tell us that they made around 16 to 18 crores on this day, which puts them just over 90 crore after 4 days of being out. That’s only 10% lower than what they were making during their opening weekend – but don’t worry about it!
This low decrease assures a guaranteed success for RRR in the long haul because despite people wanting to see it less on Sunday and now knowing that tickets are cheaper by 35%, more people came to see it today than Friday! It was successful across all sectors, too.
On Monday, after having a strong start of 19 crores on Sunday, Ranthumurugan had made 15 crore more. Gujarat, Mumbai, Delhi and Bihar were the best regions for it. It was outperformed by only two other Indian films – Surmukhiyan and Kabir Singh – but still managed to show some strength in each region.
In fact, Gujarati audiences loved it so much that they jumped from city to city throughout the weekend; consistently surpassing the previous trends set before them over the past three days with an almost guaranteed chance of ending up in one of India’s Top 3 earners of all time with movies like Padmaavat or Baahubali 2 once it finishes its run!
