Monday’s numbers indicate Bala is still soaring. The movie brought in Rs. 2.25 crores, furthering its success at the box office – primarily in multiplexes which comprise its primary viewership. While Marjaavaan continues to excite single screen patrons, Bala is increasingly favored by multiplex-goers.
To date, Dinesh Vijan’s production has achieved a total of Rs. 92.99 crores. At one point, it was anticipated that the movie would cross the coveted Rs. 100 Crore Club within two weeks but this may now take up to 15 or 16 days.
Ayushmann Khurranna’s success this year has been monumental. His film, Bala, follows two other major successes – Article 15 and Dream Girl. This achievement puts Ayushmann among a select group of elite superstars who have earned a trifecta of hit films in one year.
