On Saturday, Bala experienced exceptional growth, surpassing its prior collection of Rs. 10.15 crores from Friday to gather a total of Rs. 15.73 crores in the box office. With an auspicious beginning, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam’s starrer is well-positioned for a fruitful weekend at the theaters.
After premiering with a successful opening day gross of Rs. 10.05 crores, Ayushmann’s last release Dream Girl enjoyed an even greater success with Rs. 16.42 crores on its following day at the box office. Nevertheless, it saw only nominal growth when it collected Rs. 18.10 crores on Sunday; culminating in a weekend total of Rs. 44.57 crores.
A fruitful weekend of approximately Rs. 44-45 crores is something that the production team of Dinesh Vijan must have high expectations for. With a collection already reaching Rs. 25.88 crores, and Sunday’s performance still to come, this feat may certainly be achievable.
