With War running in full steam, its collections are among the highest ever. Although ironically, Joker’s presence at the premium multiplexes of major cities has resulted in a slight dip of the film’s profits compared to those generated by Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Nevertheless, War stands out strong and is proving to be an unbeatable competition.
Achieving a lifetime collection of Rs. 216.65 crores at the box office, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s movie War has been a sensation since its release. In just seven days, it became one of the very few films to join the 200 Crore Club. Analysts believe that this feat will only be magnified by another twenty crore when Week 2 closes; ensuring that this hit feature cements itself among India’s all–time greats.
Placing the film so comfortably above Rs. 300 crores, Hrithik and Tiger have set their sights even higher on the lofty Rs. 350 crore target.
