The awaited second installment of the series Bhool Bhulaiyaa – Bhool Bhulaiya 2 has been met with much anticipation since its announcement last year. Yesterday (January 12th), it was finally released to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Filled with many twists, turns and surprises from start-to-finish, Bhoola Bulaiya 2 guarantees an interesting plot that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats! Featuring Kiara Advani as the main lead this time around, this film opens up a whole new side of her acting abilities that we haven’t seen before.
After experiencing the apocalypse, many people were struggling to find ways in which they could simply survive. Thankfully though, even under these difficult circumstances new creative forms came about- such as Bollywood films! One such example is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 made for 15 crores that performed very well when it opened nationwide yesterday with Rs. 14.11 crores collected!
From what I know about its first day performance for me says that it’s now one of the four highest opening day grossers since no sooner than the event took place if you compare only those movies released post-apocalypse! More specifically, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2′ has already managed to earn more money during its first 24 hours then previous competing movies including but not limited to ’83’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘Heropanti2’ and a slew of others!
Currently, the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to run in theaters and is expected to see a good bump in revenue over its first Saturday and Sunday. As per industry predictions, the film, which has been experiencing excellent trending at the box office so far, could realistically gross close to Rs. 50 crores by the end of its opening weekend.
