The Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released on Friday to a highly positive response from the critics and audience alike. After taking off to a flying start the business of the Anees Bazmee directorial saw further growth on its second day running. In fact, the Bhushan Kumar-Murad Khetani production managed to draw in Rs. 18.34 cr on its second day running.

Despite all the hype and promotion behind it, however, the film’s earnings do not manage to surpass those from KGF – Chapter 2 or RRR – both films earned about Rs. 42-24 crores respectively on their respective first Saturdays but nevertheless are able to earn more than Gangubai Kathiawadi (13.32 crore), Bachchhan Paandey (11.5 crore), The Kashmir Files (8.50 crore) or Heropanti 2 (5.50 crore).
Currently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to run strong with people coming back time after time. Going off of this current trend, the film’s profits will likely increase even more than it already has – based off predictions that the movie will bring in over Rs. 20 crores on its first Sunday.
