The Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which also stars Kiara Advani and is directed by Anees Bazmee was released just one week ago to a phenomenal response. On its first day, the film raked in Rs. 14.11 cr – making it one of the most profitable films till date even before counting Monday’s collection. From there it saw growth over its opening weekend with collections crossing the Rs. 50 cr mark- which again makes this movie one of the most profitable until now (even before counting Monday).

With $92 million being collected worldwide already, Kartik’s highest opening week grosser yet is just getting started! Compared to his previous releases such as ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and even the latest release called Pyaar Ka Punchmana 2, it seems that he really outdid himself with this new release – grossing $92 million compared to his last debut for $39 million. So far without competition from any other studio blockbusters, the revenue made from ticket sales only goes up for this particular blockbuster. This may lead up to hitting another milestone by topping off around $120 million by next Friday (second weekend).
