Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is making all the money and it looks like it won’t stop anytime soon. According to estimates, on Monday alone the movie made between Rs.10.5 – 11.25 crores (around $1million) which puts its 4-day total at about Rs.67 crores ($10 million).
A small percentage drop (in comparison to Friday) was seen because of lower ticket prices across major theatre chains nationwide over a weekend. In terms of footfall through theatres though, there is no notable difference when you compare it to Friday’s numbers; Mumbai and Gujarat are clearly being turned into fans of Hrithik Roshan’s latest blockbuster hit!
Our estimation for the first week of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 would now be 90 crores which meant that the film had entered into 100 crores club on its 9th day. This was Anees Bazee’s debut film, and his direction was excellent! We believe that this story will do well because it satisfies both mass audiences and family audiences equally – so as an estimate, we predict they’ll finish at around 175 crores total! But what made us really excited about this movie is when Kartik Aaryan popped up during the credits roll out. With just one film he’s already set himself apart from all other actors in Bollywood!
