Recently, Bellbottom – starring one of India’s biggest film stars Akashay Kumar hit theaters domestically in India; managing to impress the masses even with tight restrictions such as Covid 19. Overseas, however, was a different story. Outside Indian borders Bellbottom managed a notable but respectable 27.14 USD for its first day alone – it did extremely well in regions such as North America where it grossed approximately $20 million rupees after just three days- and also excelled elsewhere gaining around 7000USD from areas such as London, where theatergoers happily lined up in record numbers that stood far above previous queues even when movies considered ‘super blockbusters’ released.
