Badhaai Do exceededexpectations on Valentine’s Day with its collections of Rs. 1.85 crores. If the earnings had simply been consistent with the Friday results of Rs. 1.65 crores, it still would have been a success. This marks a clear sign of its audience approval.
The film has experiencedpast weekend and maintained a stable level on Monday, resulting in a four-day collection of Rs. 9.67 crores. There is still a lot of work to be done in the upcoming days to ensure success; particularly, more than 1 crore in earnings every day till Thursday and increased earnings in the second weekend. Thus far, it appears that the movie featuring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar will bring in at least Rs. 1.25 crores today, which will be a major milestone for the movie’s success.
In to accommodate the release of this film, it is necessary to permit 100% occupancy in Delhi NCR and Maharashtra, and lift the night curfew. This way, there will be two open weeks for it until Gangubai Kathiawadi’s premiere.
