With open interest shown before it opened, box office revenues for Brahmastra exceeded expectations exceeding an impressive Rs. 36 cr just for its first day.
When you compare this to Mukherji’s previous films, such as Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (Rs. 62.1cr) and Wake Up Sid (Rs .10 .4cr), all three were his highest opener at the time but Brahmastra exceeds them both significantly with raking up a whopping 120 crore until now while still continuing to maintain the edge over other contenders after just 3 days of release!
