Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior’s performance in the box office has reached an unprecedented level. On Monday, it continued to rake in millions while simultaneously showing no signs of losing steam. Today alone, Tanhaji earned $8.17 million- which is both amazing and insane, considering there was barely a difference between today’s earnings and what they made on Friday ($10.06 million).
Had this been just another Monday number, it still would not have been too bad of an outcome. Already the movie is raking in so much money in its second week – already crossing Rs. 175 crores! And there are signs that it could be a blockbuster hit as well – based off how quickly its numbers are growing at this time now. By next Saturday – or even sooner- the movie will exceed Rs. 200 crores and continue to grow from there; hopefully touching an even higher amount for its total lifetime earnings!
The Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starred movie would be competing against Street Dancer 2 this Friday, but after all the trailers I’ve seen for both movies-I’m eager to find out who will win between the two! It’s going to be a tough decision for theater owners since Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior has been really popular while Varun Dhawan-Shraddha Kapoor has some good reviews. But still there are so many opinions on which one is better!
