The Mahesh Manjrekar-directed Salman Khan – Aayush Sharma starrer Antim – The Final Truth was released last Friday. Since then, it has done fairly well at the box office, attracting audiences during its opening weekend and the first week of release. With good returns coming in after two weeks of success, the business for Antim remained strong on this past weekend too.
Recently released Antim – The Final Truth has beaten out all other movies in its current year for some time now. With a total earnings of Rs. 32.36 cr., it is currently the second highest-grossing movie of 2021 after Akshay Kumar’s latest release so far, Suryavanshi which has made Rs. 192.36 cr up until this point (and still going).
In turn, with an earning amount nearing 35 crores since its initial release just two weeks ago, Antim will most likely continue to increase its profit margin with each passing week that it remains playing at theaters. Industry insiders predict that if all goes well (which it often does), the film may see lifetime earnings around Rs 2-3cr range and thus break even sooner than predicted before its release date last month.
