The opening day numbers for Anek were shockingly low, coming in at around Rs.2.11 crores despite the overwhelming promotion and an intense narrative; it seems that this is all due to a very small turnout from people looking for something serious today because Ayushmann Khurrana did give a solid performance as well. Now all we can hope for is a major turn-around over these next couple days so that the film can start gaining momentum again!
