Finally, after years of waiting – Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt released in theatres on September 9, 2022. With a directorial credit going to Ayan Mukerji, the film has garnered mixed reviews from both audiences as well as critics. Though some have found the storyline weak or uninteresting, others have claimed that the visuals were spectacular and worth all this time wait.
Currently sitting at Rs. 225 crore gross so far worldwide but earning only Rs. 120.75 crores domestically after its opening weekend – this Hindi production still continues to be popular among Indian cinema goers who are praising it for its efforts and ambition even though they feel that it falls short when compared against other films from recent times such as Student of the Year 2 (which was liked by everyone) or Dilwaala which had won hearts world-wide!
