On November 9, 2020, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Laxmii debuted on Disney+ Hotstar as the movie theaters in India were closed since the coronavirus lockdown in March. As the cinema halls reopened with 50% capacity, some past films made their way to the theaters, while new releases were held back. Unfortunately, Laxmii would only be available in India on the streaming platform, with only limited theatrical releases in U.A.E, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. The box office collections of the film in these overseas territories have been revealed.
