Addon Router Login
Here are the steps you need to take in order to login onto your Adaptec Router.
1. Connect your laptop or computer to the internet through a wireless connection OR plug in an Ethernet cable if you are using a desktop.
Recommendation – When you’re setting up an Addon router, it’s best to plug it in with a wire rather than relying on wireless signals. This way you can avoid the risk of getting disconnected from the internet when saving changes.
2. Open your favorite web browser and enter the Internet Protocol (IP) address from the back of your Addon router into the Address bar.
3. You will need to enter your router’s default username and password if you want to access the admin panel. If you do not know this information, there are default passwords for some manufacturers of routers that might work for you!

If you can’t log in to your router, then either you entered an incorrect username or password. Be sure to make a mental note of both once the problem is solved so it doesn’t happen again later.
- Router login page not loading? If the router login page does not load up, ensure that you’re connected to the wireless internet connection. You may need to change your default router IP address if it has been incorrectly inputted before hand.
- Did you forget your login password? Restarting your router may help! To do this, press the small black button in the back of your modem. Keep pressing it for about 10 seconds and then watch for a little light to turn off afterwards – that means your modem has been rebooted!
- Pages can sometimes experience slow loading times or even an inability to load at all. This is due to the fact that your network may be using a different IP address than usual.
