Baaghi 3’s second day box office revenue was around 10% less than its first day revenue. On Friday, it raked in approximately Rs. 17.5 crores which dropped to about Rs. 16 crores on Saturday for a total of about Rs. 32 crores in two days – enough for it to maintain its place at number one and rule the weekend box office competition so far ahead of ‘Padmaavat’ (now at number two), who has seen an even greater decline from its opening day, but still maintains its position thanks to earning more money per hour since people are willing to spend additional time watching it rather than Baaghi3 due to its content being too formulaic for repeat viewings – something extremely necessary for blockbuster success.
The film industry is showing great signs of improvement as it seems there are still many places where it can thrive. In previous cases, when hard-core commercial films come out they tend to do really well on weekends because they draw families in and increase the number of people who visit theatres. However, this isn’t a regular week because a virus has been spreading around; therefore, it’s too early to make an accurate prediction at this time because lots of different factors may come into play (including the long weekend).
Collecting an approximated amount of Rs. 33 crore with very little time left, Tiger Shroff’s latest movie must be nearing its plateau for box office earnings; if not surpassed it already. For producer Sajid Nadiadwala, this would mean only one thing – a successful debut in India under the action genre. With each movie successively doubling up on what the last one did and many investments being put into each successive project- this ambitious hope cannot go unfulfilled. If Ahmed Khan manages to please people once again, it will definitely make headlines!
